Which download format should I pick?

We (currently) provide our downloads in two formats, WMV and MP4.

WMV (Windows Media Video) is the format used by Windows Media Player and many Portable Media Players. MP4 (MPEG 4) is the format used by iTunes and the iPod video players.

If you have an iPod or run a Mac, you should pick the MP4 format to download. If you have a Windows Media based Portable Media Player or run Windows, you should pick WMV format. Of course, you can play WMV files on MACs and you can play MP4 files on Windows and some Portable Media Devices support both WMV and MP4, so it’s not quite that straightforward! If you aren’t sure, try downloading just one or two tracks (you can download the content once in each format) and see which works best for you.
